Lula LLC is an Armenian company specializing in cheese production, established in 2005. Over the years, the company has built a strong presence in Armenia’s cheese market, operating both domestically and internationally. Its customers include major supermarket chains as well as medium and small businesses. Lula LLC’s product portfolio features a variety of popular cheeses, including Chanakh, Lori, Cream Cheese, Sheep Cheese, Gouda, Dalar, etc.

To further enhance its production capacity and maintain high product quality standards, Lula LLC implemented a significant investment through the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line, focusing on modern, high-efficiency cheese production equipment. The project was financed through Armswissbank and involved the installation of a Mozarella cheese production line and auxiliary equipment, with a power capacity of 25 kW. The equipment is designed for a production rate of 300 kg/hour, enabling an annual output of approximately 630,000 kg of cheese products.

The new equipment has improved operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with EU occupational health and safety regulations (H&S), as well as national environmental legislation. Lula LLC is fully compliant with national employment and social legislation, maintaining strong workplace health and safety standards.

The project was successfully implemented with the support of the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line and was further strengthened by a 10% EU-funded investment incentive. This financial support reduced the company’s initial investment costs and encouraged the adoption of EU-aligned technologies and best practices.
