Business Art LLC is an Armenian textile and materials (e.g. padding polyester and sintepon) processing company known for its focus on product quality, efficiency, and workplace standards. Over the years, the company has steadily expanded its operations by combining modern industrial practices with a commitment to innovation and workforce wellbeing.
To support its continued growth and improve production capacity, Business Art LLC implemented a key investment through the EU4Business-EBRD SMECI Credit Line, focusing on high-performance processing equipment. The investment project was financed through Armswissbank. The investment included the installation of a fiber wadding production line with a power capacity of 137.45 kW, aimed at enhancing material processing efficiency. Integrating this new equipment into the production process resulted in 23% energy savings of 105.48 MWh/year in primary energy savings. The investment also supported GHG emissions reduction of 18.28 t CO2/year.
Eligible investment cost | EUR 71,304.20 |
Investment incentive | EUR 7,130.42 |
Primary energy use avoided | 105.48 MWh/year |
GHG emissions avoided | 18.28 t CO2/year |
This investment aligns with EU directives on occupational health and safety (H&S). The equipment contributes to improved productivity and output quality.
The project was successfully implemented with the support of the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line and was further strengthened by a 10% investment incentive, funded by the EU. This investment incentive support helped reduce initial investment costs and served as a strong motivation for the company to adopt EU-aligned technologies and practices.
This targeted upgrade has enabled Business Art LLC to strengthen its position in the local textile market, while laying the groundwork for future expansion and continuous operational improvement.
